How to make Sheepskin Headbands
Sheepskin headband tutorial. Shearling ear and head warmer patterns with several sizes and two different widths. Make very nice warm shearling headbands with easy to follow craft style leatherworking patterns that have every hole and measurement figured out for you. Just tape the pattern to your sheepskin, punch the pre marked holes, trace, and cut. Then follow along with the video for easy assembly. If you haven't used any of my sheepskin patterns before. My Sheepskin Mitten video will cover how to transfer your pattern to sheepskin. Since I covered that process many times over I skipped that part in this video.
To size you're hat measure around your head (circumference). Use that measurement to choose your pattern. Going off the size you may think you are like medium or small alone could be off since no two companies mediums will be the same. Going with the max measurement for any given size will give a snug cap, and vise versa.
The sizing will be as follows:
X-Small fits- 18" to 19" (45.7cm to 48.2cm)
Small fits- 19" to 20" (48.2cm to 50.8cm)
Medium fits- 20" to 21" (50.8cm to 53.3cm)
Large fits- 21" to 22" (53.3cm to 55.8cm)
X-Large fits- 22" to 23" (55.8cm to 58.4cm)
XX-Large fits- 23" to 24" (58.4cm to 60.9cm)
XXX-Large fits-24" to 25" (60.9cm to 63.5cm)
