Should I use a hole punch or stitching chisel?
Is it better to use a hole punch or stitching chisel when sewing leather. A larger hole punch than usual was used in the video so the differences were amplified. With some patterns a stitching chisel may be used instead of a hole punch. Using a stitching chisel for the holes that will show and a hole punch where they’ll be hidden is a great way to have the best of both.
